5+ A Day Competition for Primary Schools 2013
There are no limits or rules; just plan a picnic, lesson, field trip or anything at all that supports students’ learning about healthy eating and 5+ A Day, and makes some media noise!
The new 5+ A Day curriculum-linked resources will help you get started. The good news is that you have until November to hold your 5+ A Day event.
Competition details:
- Plan your 5+ A Day event anytime from now through to November
- Name your event (download Event Ideas)
- Download the media template, copy for your school newsletter and copy for a letter home to families
- Use the media template to invite your local newspaper, radio or even television to cover the event
- Send the coverage to fredge@5aday.co.nz before Friday 1st November 2013
- Winners will be notified and announced on our website in November 2013

5+ A Day Primary School Competition Terms and Conditions
2013 Information about entry and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Entries not complete in accordance with them are ineligible.
- Entry is open to all primary schools in New Zealand
- One entry per school
- Entries close on 1st November 2013
- The winners will be drawn before 1st December 2013
- Winners will be notified in writing
- Prizes are not transferable
- The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into
- The 5+ A Day Charitable Trust may use the winning schools’ names, entries and town’s of residence in further promotions and public relations activity including newsletters, website and social media
- Appliances will be delivered to one New Zealand address
- Installation of appliances is not included in the prize
