Berry Fruit Salad

Serves 6
Preparation 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 punnet strawberries, hulled and cut in half
1 punnet blueberries
1 punnet raspberries
1 punnet blackberries
1 tablespoon good balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier (or similar)
1⁄4 cup sugar
1⁄4 cup fresh mint leaves

Whipped cream and strawberry yogurt to serve

Method

This berry fruit salad is great to serve in a bowl for people to help themselves of you make individual Christmas berry fruit salads by placing 6 glasses in the refrigerator to use later
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, vinegar and liqueur
Gentle mix in all the berries and half of the mint leaves finely sliced
Cover and refrigerate for an hour
Spoon into individual glasses
Mix desired amount of whipped cream with strawberry yogurt and spoon over fruit – top with a mint leaf and serve immediately
