The 5+ A Day Charitable Trust has enlisted celebrity chef Simon Gault to create the #BestSaladEver to help Kiwis gobble up their fruit and vegetables this winter season.

Simon Gault has combined his tastes and techniques gathered from around the world, as well as his passion for healthy eating, into this tasty and nourishing salad that will have you and your family scrambling for more.
The #BestSaladEver is a winter salad that packs a tasty and nutritious punch; crowning kumara as king and leading into the new avocado season with fresh avocado smash, this is a recipe that your whole family will love. Gault says working with 5+ A Day is a way to help demonstrate how easy and delicious it can be to include lots of fruit and vegetables into our diets – and you don’t have to be a professional chef to do it.
“Healthy eating is something that’s close to my heart. I have a young daughter and want to make sure she grows up educated about nutrition and what it means to have a healthy diet.
