Honey Roasted Pears

Honey Roasted Pears

Serves: 4

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking: 20 minutes

 

Ingredients:

4 pears, halved & cored
4 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
2 tablespoons rolled oats
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons runny honey  

 

Method: 

Heat oven to 180°C

In a small bowl, mix the walnuts, rolled oats, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of honey 

Arrange the pears, cut side up, on a baking tray and add a spoonful of walnut mix to the top of each pear 

Drizzle the remaining honey over the pears and roast for 20 minutes or until tender

Serve warm or room temperature with plain yoghurt and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon
