Slaw Sliders

Serves: 4 to 6 as lunch or snack

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking: 5 minutes (for toasting the buns)


Slaw Ingredients

1/2 red cabbage, finely sliced
2 carrots, finely sliced
2 Granny Smith apples, cut into match sticks
1/2 red onion, finely sliced
1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon smooth Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons avocado oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Other Ingredients

6 small slider buns



Finely slice the red cabbage, carrots and red onion and mix together in a large bowl. Slice the apple into matchsticks and toss through

Make the dressing in a jug or bowl by whisking together the red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, avocado oil, cracked pepper and a pinch of salt

Pour the dressing into the cabbage mixture and toss everything together. Refrigerate until ready to serve

Serve in toasted slider buns
